DE LA CAMA A LA PASARELA

 Lo que me pareció una broma de pasarela ha resultado ser la tendencia estrella de esta primavera. Stella McCartney ha convertido el pijama de corte masculino en una prenda de calle y muchos celebran su originalidad, aunque diseñadores como Dolce and Gabbana o Louis Vuitton llevan años intentando que no se luzca solo en la intimidad, y otros han incluido conjuntos similares en sus colecciones de esta temporada.

En Málaga, esta tendencia hace décadas que triunfa en el street style autóctono. El aire es otro, cambian los colores, los estampados, los tejidos, los complementos, pero el concepto, el mismo. Y es que no hay nada más inspirador para un coolhunter que la calle, y aquí hay barrios que dan muchas ideas. Así que en lo que algunos pueden ver un guiño al estilo de Hugh Hefner o una oda a la comodidad de lujo yo veo un homenaje a los barrios populares malagueños. Tengo que decir que no salgo en pijama ni al descansillo de mi casa, así que, dudo que me sume a esta moda. Aunque, bien pensado, todas hemos tenido algún vestido de Women'secret que lo mismo vale para dormir, para ir de camping o para darse una vuelta por Pedregalejo. Está todo inventado.

What I thought was a joke on the catwalk is now the trendiest outfit for the spring season. You can now wear pijamas to go out thanks to Stella McCartney, and everybody celebrates its originality, though  Dolce and Gabanna or Louis Vuitton tried to get it before and you can find similar clothes in other designer's latest collection.

In Málaga, wearing pijamas in the street has been usual in the street style for years and years, with a different style maybe (colours, prints or accessories change), but it is the same concept. Because there's nothing more inspiring for a coolhunter than what they see in the street, and here you can find a lot of neighborhoods that may inspire you.

So where other people can see a reflect of Hugh Hefner's own style or an ode to luxury comfort I see a tribute to our popular tradition. 
Also I have to say that I NEVER go out in my pijama... Though, if I think twice, I realize  that we all ever had a Women'secret dress that we could wear for sleeping, or camping or having a drink in the beach. Nothing new under the Sun.
